I am a rising senior at Duke University studying public policy, economics, and global health.
As the incoming co-director of research and projects for Progressive Health Partnership, I'm hoping to learn and absorb as much as possible on this trip--one of my many goals for the summer. Next year, I'll be able to use this knowledge to better develop and plan our future work, including the framework for DE Uganda 2011. This will be my first time traveling to Africa, and I'm going to be armed with a Moleskine, DSLR, and military-grade mosquito repellent (see: Ultrathon).
Some things I enjoy, in no particular order: the Carolinas, pen and paper, TED Talks, the ampersand, Glee, the drive home from Durham, and the process of learning about myself and that which is most important to me in life.
You can contact me at trm7[at]duke[dot]edu. (Or just leave a comment on my blog!)
